Shark Tooth Beach, Exotic Coral Reefs in Tanggamus, Lampung

INPHEDIA.ID - Shark Tooth Beach is not as well-known as Mutun Beach, Klara Beach, Tanjung Setia Beach, Pasir Putih Beach (White Sand Beach) or other beaches in Lampung Province, Indonesia, which have been visited by many tourists. That is because of the distance and access to tourist sites. However, Shark Tooth Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in the province at the southern tip of Sumatra Island.

An interesting sight that you can find at Shark Tooth Beach is a cluster of rocks lined up around the coast in Pegadungan Village, Kalumbayan District, Tanggamus Regency, Lampung Province.

To go to the location of Shark Tooth Beach, from Bandarlampung City, the capital city of Lampung Province, you need about 4 hours by car, but you also have to switch to using a motorcycle or motorcycle taxi.

This is because the condition of the road leading to the beach is narrow, asphalt many peeling and the terrain that goes up and down the hill makes the motorbike as the only vehicle capable of passing the road to the beach. However, all your efforts will be paid off with the luxury of the open sea view that is full of coral decoration.

The name Shark Tooth Beach is given to this beach because of the sharp shape of the rock like a row of teeth on sharks. Besides being called Pegadungan Beach, this beach also has another name, namely "Stone Screen Beach". The naming is based on the presence of rocks that expand to form like a sailboat.

The beauty of Shark Tooth Beach cannot be described in words. There are many exotic objects that you can document in a place that is still quiet and far from the crowd, starting from the beautiful natural panorama, the steep rocks, to the big waves.

Because the beaches store a lot of natural beauty that is difficult to find in other places, there are nicknamed the Shark Tooth Beach with "Hidden Paradise". Until now, although the terrain to the location is quite difficult, there are many tourists who are interested in visiting the beaches still natural and beautiful. (WS.IND / ENG / *)
